
MA 301-MEDICATION AIDE
The Medication Aide training program covers the basic preparation for administration of medications by unlicensed persons in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility and other health related facilities. Program is designed to prepare students to meet the requirements of the NC Medication Aide Act. This is a 24-hour class. Students who complete this program will be eligible to take the North Carolina Board of Nursing Medication Aide Competency Exam. After successfully completing the exam, student will be listed on the Medication Aide Registry.

Classes offered:
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-3pm (24 hours)
At the completion of the program, students are required to take the NC State exam administered through Pearson Vue and pass before they can be listed on the Medication aide registry by the NCBON
